The Moderator Club is a Montreal-based bilingual (French, English) Toastmasters club. Established in 1979, the Club has approximately 40 members, from beginners to very experienced Toastmasters, so that all members receive excellent and varied feedback on their speeches.
The Moderator Toastmasters Club belongs to District 61, which has approximately 3200 members in over 157 clubs. District 61 takes in all of Quebec, Ontario (as far as west Kingston and north to Chalk River), and clubs in Massena and Watertown, N.Y.
Once you arrive at our meeting room one of our officials will introduce you to the club members and answer your questions about the Toastmasters program. Consult the meeting agenda sheet to get a better understanding of the structure of the meeting. A typical Moderator club meeting consists of two main parts: The Business Session and the Educational Session.

Guests are always welcome and made to feel at home. We ask guests to arrive between 6:15 and 6:25 PM; a representative of the club will meet you at the Lobby desk. Upon arrival, members and guests must sign the Standard Life guest book at the security desk, and sign out when leaving.

Note that the meeting format may change for special events (Contests, debates etc.).

Why limit yourself to an expensive 2-day communications workshop? For a small annual membership fee you can join a Toastmasters club and practice public speaking and leadership all year round. Please note that Toastmasters International is a non-profit organization: all dues collected from Toastmasters members are used exclusively to cover the operating expenses of the club and of Toastmasters International.
